Blank pages, poetically empty, glowed beneath her pen.
Not another word, she thought. I’ll leave you blank, innocent and pure.
Her silence thundered sonorously the words he never wished to hear.
Followed by the shattering of glass hearts.
The soothsayer, the swan, and the blind woman; one broke free to fly, and two were broken beyond repair.
In a tale of three, there can never be the entirety of a happy ending.
