Enchanted Forests

Fill your heart with wondrous belief

Glow outside as you grow inside

Love without borders and live without fear

Trust in your inner child.

Embrace the greatness of an ocean

Wander freely through enchanted forests

Truly live!

Feel small and yet be strong

Leap, and fall

Break, and mend

Learn from the past

And sculpt your future into serenity

Every chance you get, jump on the playground swing and sing to your soul’s satisfaction. – © R. A. Douglas 2017

  1. I love this piece so many of us are afraid to just be who we are for fear of others reactions. If we have that child like innocence and just be careful we wouldn’t worry so much about the insignificant tbings. Keep sharing😉

  2. Truly Great Way Of Expressing Feelings With Perfect Words It is like👌👌🙌🙌👏👏 keep sharing with us
And I read somewhere, “In all of us always a child is present who wants to enjoy every moment but we need to explore us to find out that child” And I think you are now GOOD EXPLORER, Right??

  3. A poetic comment:

    CHILDHOOD REMEMBERED
    true words you write
a little bit of you in each
    your heart and soul exposed
the child in us has always been
in serious times let it hide
    we’ll know when you’ve set
    your child inside you free
    you’ll be on that swing
    singing, happy, full of glee
    happy memories you evoked
    in me, relieved occasionally
    a young at heart seventy-three

  4. Amazing how jumping on a playground swing and singing out loud, to your soul’s satisfaction, can make you really feel Alive! I hadn’t thought of that in years, but when I read this, it came back to me…thank you! Beautiful writing.
